Skeletonwitch Launch Studio Video & Itunes Preorder

Skeletonwitch have launched the first in a series of webisodes documenting the recording of their upcoming full length Breathing the Fire, (October 13, Prosthetic Records) with producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, High On Fire, Toxic Holocaust). It can be viewed at prostheticrecords.com

The band has also announced I-TUNES pre-order is now available for Breathing the Fire. The I-TUNES version includes an exclusive bonus track called, Only No Rest for the Dead. It can be ordered here.

The band is currently on tour with Children of Bodom and The Black Dahlia Murder through October 12^th and then will provide support to The Black Dahlia Murder along with Toxic Holocaust and Trap Them. Follow the band as they recount their first performance without Layne in the wake of the Tsunami tragedy, their introduction to William, and the creative processes that led to the birth of the new album: all whilst getting their faces painted KISS style. Someone Misses The Starting Line

Image Entertainment, Inc. will release The Starting Line's first-ever live concert CD, film and documentary DVD titled Somebody's Gonna Miss Us November 10 on a 2-disc set. The group will throw an official release party on Monday, November 9 at the World Caf in Philadelphia (3025 Walnut Street, 8:00pm). For the event, THE STARTING LINE will screen portions of the DVD and fans can expect live performances from the bands latest projects including Person L (Kenny Vasoli), Cheap Seats (Tom Gyskiewicz) and The Traded Series (Mike Golla).

Formed in 1999 in Churchville, PA outside Philadelphia, THE STARTING LINE- Ken Vasoli (vocals, bass), Matt Watts (guitar), Tom Gyskiewicz(drums), Mike Golla (guitar), Brian Schmutz(keyboards)--have been revered for their invigorating blend of punk-pop, indie rock and emo earnestness which garnered the group accolades throughout their career. Rolling Stone hailed the quartets fresh-faced punk ballads (5/2005) and Alternative Press praised their 2007 Direction album: Vasoli & Co. prove they're more than capable of crafting flawless pop-punk songs (8/2007) while Spin commended the groups surging guitar anthems (8/2007).

I feel like this Live CD/DVD will give people some real insight to where we were as a band when we decided to take a much needed hiatus, explains guitarist MATT WATTS. It was certainly interesting for me to watch all of us give our individual thoughts on our career, life after TSL and see our own differing personalities from that perspective.

The hour-long documentary DVD chronicles THE STARTING LINE during their preparation for and journey on their 2008 U.S. tour which culminates in their thunderous and heartfelt Bamboozle performance on May 4. Through intimate and honest interviews with the band, friends and family fans will get a glimpse into the inner workings of the group which after eight years together decided to take a hiatus in 2008 to pursue other projects. The full-length concert DVD and live CD features the bands stunning performance in their hometown of Philadelphia at the Electric Factory on April 18, 2008. We Came As Romans Plant The Seed

Michigans We Came As Romans have set a November 3rd release date for their highly anticipated debut full-length, To Plant A Seed. Recorded with up-and-coming producer Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Emarosa, Attack Attack) at his Foundation Recording Studio, the 10-song follow-up to their breakout EP, Dreams, finds the band expanding their blend of pop-infused metal.

Although recorded with the same producer, there is still an intentional difference between the two albums. We Came As Romans didnt let the fact that they are only a six-piece hold them back from achieving a more symphonic sound on To Plant A Seed. I played the trombone from Elementary school until I graduated high school and I always took the sound of a symphonic band or an orchestra with me, explains Moore of their decision to add orchestral elements to the album such as the violins, brass, and piano interlaced throughout the albums dynamic layers.

Not unlike the EP, the lyrics on To Plant A Seed reflect We Came As Romans goal of spreading a positive message through their music. The band hopes, when people hear the album, they might not change the way they think or the way they act right now, but hopefully we've planted that seed, that thought of love, and it can grow.

The theme of the album is carried through to the artwork. Painted by acclaimed artist Paul Romano (Mastodon, Chiodos), the album cover depicts a very innocent looking boy in which the seed has been planted in his mind and it grows to his heart, out of his palms and becomes branches, describes Moore.

The band Dave Stephens (vocals), Kyle Pavone (vocals/synth), Joshua Moore and Lou Cotton (guitar), Andy Glass (bass), and Eric Choi (drums) will keep a busy tour schedule for the rest of 2009 that finds them on the road for several months beginning September 26th, including a week in Canada, a three week run with The Chariot, three weeks of headlining, and three weeks with friends, I See Stars.

The double LP audio compilation features 31-tracks from some of the best to have come from the punk scene (NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise, 7 Seconds, The Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag, The Briefs, Lagwagon, Youth Brigade) along with many of today's up-and-coming bands, all covering songs from BYO's extensive catalog. Finally, the full-color, hardcover coffee table companion book uses the written word to expand on this story. This boxed set celebrates the landmark of over 25 years for Youth Brigade, BYO Records and the Stern Brothers and reveals this too-often overlooked chapter in the rise of independent music specific to Los Angeles, which continues to be the epicenter of punk rock.

With two albums released, headlining dates and a tour supporting Coldplay - 2009 has been the busiest year of Pete Yorns career. He hits the road this fall for a second leg of headlining dates kicking off Oct. 19 in Lawrence, KS.
